University Park Campus

Just a short bus or bike ride from the city centre, the 330-acre University Park is the historic home of the University of Nottingham, and its largest campus. Set around our famous lake and with extensive parkland greenery, the campus is widely regarded as one of the most attractive in the country.
University Park features a mixture of period buildings and modern state-of-the-art teaching and research facilities, with 12 halls of residence, an award-winning library, a conference and exhibition centre, sports facilities and the Lakeside Arts Centre. The hub of student life is the Portland Building, which houses the Students’ Union and the International Students’ Bureau, as well as shops, banks, restaurants and The Den nightclub and Mooch bar and restaurant.
The impressive landscaped setting of the campus incorporates long-established woodland and more contemporary gardens - all part of the environment that has made the campus a Civic Trust Green Flag Award winner. A real hidden gem is the Millenium Garden; designed around the theme of 'time', it offers a quiet, reflective place in which to escape the hustle and bustle of campus life.
