Medical School
The Medical School is adjacent to University Park and, together with the University Hospital, forms the Queen’s Medical Centre. Medical and nursing students spend much of their time in the Medical School and at hospitals throughout the region. For example, nursing students can be based in Boston, Derby, Lincoln, North Nottinghamshire or Nottingham.
The nearby Nottingham City Hospital houses the University’s Clinical Sciences Building and is home to the Physiotherapy course. Entrants to the Graduate Entry Medicine and Healthcare Science courses are based at the University’s Medical School in Derby, a purpose-built institute based on the site of the Derby City General Hospital.
